Hi,
A rencent interest for me. To be honnest this interest start too late with funeral of a friend who was pationate by this type of cover. I decide to elarge my Greek collection with navy cover posted from ship when they was in greek ports.
At this point I have two cover but as you know we must begin from the begining
First one was explain on my blog, french boat escorting convoy from Tunisia to Lebanon. Take care if you scearch the boat name, because a previous one was destroyed during WW2, here we are in 1948 at Athens.

Second cover was send in 1916 from a huge ship at Thessaloniki who fight in Dardanelle and was scrap in 1917. I suspect some parts (guns) of this ship was use to arm the small navy fleet in Greek lake, because in archive it's explain they use guns unmount from navy battle ships.
